- What is Gachord?
- Gachord is a Discord gacha and TCG bot. Members open card packs, complete sets, trade with each other, and battle in Triple Triad. Servers design their own cards or import a community catalog, then tune drop rates and pity to taste.
- How do I add Gachord to my Discord server?
- Click Add to Discord on this page and authorize Gachord on a server where you have the Manage Server permission. Run
/pull to open your first pack and /admin config web to open the web admin panel.
- Can I use my own cards and artwork?
- Yes. In the web admin you upload artwork, name and describe each card, set its rarity, and toggle whether it can drop in packs. Every card also supports a separate full-art image, and you can add your own variants on top — each with its own artwork per card.
- What are custom variants?
- Every card can drop as ✨ shiny or ❖ full art. Admins can add their own variants beside them — a name, an emoji, a drop chance and a recycle multiplier — and upload the artwork each card wears in that form, with its own card layout if you like. Each pull banner, shop pack and spawner can override a variant's odds. Free servers define one custom variant, premium up to five; shiny and full art are included on every tier.
- Is Gachord free?
- Yes. The full game — packs, pity, sets, trading, Triple Triad, wishlist, and recycle — is free, and no setting is locked behind the paywall: free servers tune drop rates, shiny rate, pity thresholds, pack prices, cooldown, pack size, and the pull bank exactly like paying ones. Premium widens those ranges (cooldown down to 1h, packs up to 20 cards, up to 10 banked pulls) and raises the counts: 1,000 cards instead of 30, up to ten pull banners, shop packs, and card spawners, and five custom variants instead of one.
- What is Triple Triad in Gachord?
- Triple Triad is a card-placement duel inspired by Final Fantasy VIII, played on a 3×3 or 4×4 board. Place cards with four edge values, flip your opponent's by beating their adjacent edge, and rule the board when the grid fills. Same, Plus, Combo, Reverse, Fallen Ace and Blind rules are supported, you can wager shards, and the bot steps in as an opponent on three difficulty levels. Matches play in Discord or in the browser.
- How does the pity system work?
- Pity guarantees a rare-or-better card after a configurable number of cards opened without one (default 9, counted per card). A separate shiny pity grants a shiny at the configured threshold (default 100 cards). Both counters reset on every qualifying drop, and admins can disable either pity entirely from the Settings tab.
- How do card spawns work?
- A spawner drops a card into a channel on a timer, with a random window so the exact minute can't be camped. By default the first member to hit Claim keeps it; switch the spawner to shared claiming and everyone who claims gets their own copy until the drop closes. Claiming is always free — no cooldown and no shards. A spawner can also gate its drop behind a mini-game: the card posts face-down and players win it by matching pairs in a memory board, naming it from its artwork, unscrambling its name, picking it out of four names, or putting its shuffled artwork back together. Every player races the same puzzle in their own private message, and mini-games are available on every tier.
