Terms of Service

By adding Gachord to a Discord server, or by using its commands or web interface, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Gachord.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country, whichever is greater. By using Gachord you represent that you meet this requirement and that, where you add the bot to a server, you have the authority to do so (typically the Manage Server permission).

Gachord lets server members open virtual card packs, collect and recycle cards, complete sets, trade with other members, and play Triple Triad matches, with an optional web interface for administration and play. Features, drop rates, and availability are provided for entertainment and may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

Cards, shards (🔷), and any other in-game items are virtual goods licensed to you for use within Gachord only. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or anything of real-world value, and do not constitute your property.

Pack openings are randomized. Any published drop rates and pity behavior are approximate and may be configured by server administrators or adjusted by us. We may modify, suspend, reset, or remove any virtual item, balance, or game mechanic at any time, without notice and without liability.

Servers may purchase an optional Premium subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. Premium is billed on a recurring basis and renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal — access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable. We may change Premium pricing or features with reasonable notice; continuing to use Premium after a change takes effect means you accept it. Because Premium unlocks virtual benefits, you acknowledge you are not purchasing any item of real-world value.

Server administrators can upload images and text, including card artwork, names, descriptions, and set or category data ("your content"). You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all rights needed to use it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or otherwise prohibited by Discord. By uploading content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display it solely to operate Gachord. We may remove any content at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• abuse, exploit, or manipulate game mechanics, drop rates, the economy, or software bugs;
• use automation, scripts, or self-bots to interact with Gachord;
• buy, sell, or trade virtual items for real money or outside the bot;
• reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure; or
• use Gachord for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Discord's rules.

If you add Gachord to a server, you are responsible for configuring it, for the cards and content you create, and for moderating its use within your community in line with these Terms and Discord's rules. You are also responsible for any Premium subscription you purchase for that server.

Gachord — including its name, code, design, and original assets — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights in it beyond using the service as intended.

Triple Triad is a game concept owned by its respective rights holders; Gachord's implementation is an independent, non-commercial homage and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by them.

Gachord is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data or virtual items will be preserved. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, virtual items, or progress, arising out of or relating to your use of Gachord. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Premium in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

We may suspend or terminate access to Gachord at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including a violation of these Terms. You may stop using Gachord at any time by removing it from your server. When Gachord is removed from a server, that server's associated data is deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including those on virtual items, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability — will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of Gachord after that constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts there for any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law grants you a different forum.
